Riby Street: Development Number 3

CLIENT:

Project description

No. 3 Riby Street had been used for the processing of seafood products in the past, but was limited to being used for storage for the adjacent No. 2 Riby Street, which was being used for processing seafoods.

No. 3 was originally constructed as a smoke house, but this part of the building had not been used for many years. The refurbishment of No. 3 involved the demolition of the smoke house area and conversion into cold stores. The front of the building had been refurbished to include a new shop front with entrance to a sales counter. In addition the existing roller shutter on the front elevation was replaced and provided access to the existing and new cold stores.

No. 2 Riby Street had been connected to No. 3 by way of 2 no. access doors, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.
