The project involved the refurbishment of the existing community centre. Works associated with the refurbishment included;

Full refurbishment  of fixtures and finishes internally with re-modelling of the internal layout  to current regulations and MOD standards.

External works included removal, upgrade and reinstatement of the roof coverings, installation of new and replacement windows and doors.

Internal works included replacement of kitchen and toilets, new ceilings, floor covering and internal joinery.

The existing electric heating system was removed and replaced with a new gas fired heating system. Electrical and fire alarm systems were replaced due to non compliance.
